I Still Have Faith makes his handicap debut this afternoon and ran well enough following near a year off the track at Thirsk last time. That was the worst ground that he has ever encountered in his career so he should be seen to better effect now returned to a firmer surface. An opening mark of 70 from the handicapper does not look to be too harsh and Dougie Costello takes control of the reins for the first time. Another slight step up in trip is on the cards here and he should be better suited by it. The Brookhouse team are in good form and no surprise if this one outruns what is likely to be a decent price.

Eminency could well prove the one they all have to beat in this competitive handicap. He was far from disgraced on what was his seasonal reappearance last time out at Kempton where he was only beaten a little over a length at this trip. Kieran Shoemark is in the saddle for Clive Cox this afternoon and they can leave that run well behind. He won at Windsor on what was only his second career start and no surprises if he were to do so again on his second start of the calendar year once more. He seems to be a colt who loves to hear his hooves rattle on a sound surface so connections will be hoping that the rain stays away. He looks to be a leading contender in this field.

Theme Park could well prove the star attraction for an in-form team here in the opener at Doncaster. The lightly raced three-year-old showed no signs of his true ability at Redcar about four weeks ago but with the cobwebs blown away, he can progress again here. The scopey son of Lope De Vega acquitted himself reasonably well on what would have been the softest ground he has ever encountered in a race last time. Back on a sounder surface, he can be expected to perform a lot better this evening. Nigel Tinkler has sent out a few winners in the last couple of weeks, so there should be more to come.
18:55 @ Doncaster – Treacherous (5/1)

Treacherous should prove hard to beat off bottom-weight in this tight knit handicap. The Ed De Giles trained nine-year-old recorded his first win in almost three years when beating the re-opposing Pocket The Profit at Wolverhampton last time. Whilst nine of his twelve career wins have been on the all-weather tracks, he has managed to secure three previous wins on turf also. Having won off ten-pound higher marks in the past, and him now brimming with confidence once more, it will be of little surprise to see him follow up here. Luke Morris rides him for the first time since 2019 and the pair have to come right into the reckoning.
