Today’s Horse Racing Accumulator Tips

14:30 Leicester

Charlie Appleby can scoop up both juvenile events at the Midlands track with this 650,000 guineas Dubawi colt forming the second leg of a two year old double. He ran a race full of promise on his debut when despite taking a keen hold he kept on well to go second close home at York when finishing a 2L runner up to Cuban Thunder who had already had a run. With that run sure to have tightened him up he’ll be hard to beat with William Buick doing the steering.

18:40 Lingfield

Looked green still on his second start at Wolverhampton earlier this month when given a prominent ride from Luke Morris in making all and coming home 2 1/4L clear of his opponents. The runner up that day has won a Nottingham maiden by 9L to frank the form and Archie Watson’s three year old looks a great bet here with Hector Crouch taking over from Morris who’s at Redcar today.

19:10 Lingfield

Charlie Appleby could be in for a good day with his two year olds with two at Leicester looking ready to strike and he can get the treble up with this Shamardal filly making her racecourse bow over 7F tonight. Appleby has yet to really get going with his juveniles but this looks a weak enough contest and with James Doyle on top should be highly competitive for the boys in blue.

NAP of the day Tips

15:50 Redcar

Moves into handicaps following three promising runs in novice/maiden company with his latest effort when 4th (of 8) behind Sir Michael Stoute’s filly infinite Cosmos at Newmarket at 33/1 a particularly pleasing effort. This class 5 0-75 fillies race looks a good starting point for trainer Hugp Palmer’s daughter of Saxon Warrior with the booking of Oisin Murphy an eye catching one.

Top-rated Tips

13:55 Leicester

Charlie Appleby’s juvenile, a 625,000 guineas breeze up horse by promising first season sire Blue Point, who Appleby trained, went off a very well backed 8/13 favourite on his debut at Ascot when finishing 2L 4th of 5 having dwelt at the start and weakened close home. That was run in soft ground and with that experience under his belt and now racing on a sounder surface can strike at the second time of asking under William Buick.

14:50 Redcar

Was backed as if defeat was out of the question on his handicap debut at Lingfield last month when having led he weakened inside the final furlong to finish runner up to Sovereign Spirit. Sir Mark Prescott has his team in fine form winning with 5 of his last 7 runners (up to racing Monday) and his lightly raced Sea The Stars three year old can open his account here in a very winnable race.

15:20 Redcar

An interesting novice stakes for a modest Tuesday afternoon card at Redcar. Three previous winners take each other on with preference for the Sir Michael Stoute Sea The Stars three year old who looked a good prospect when winning at the second time of asking at Newcastle earlier this month. Richard Kingscote takes the ride in what could be a big week for him with Passenger looming as his ride in this weekend’s Epsom Derby.

16:10 Brighton

Roger Varian’s four year old was caught too far back under 5lb claimer Aidan Keeley when running on well to finish half a length second in a class 5 all-weather handicap last time and despite a 2lb rise will be hard to beat here. Raul Da Silva takes over today in what looks a very winnable contest.

16:20 Redcar

Tim Easterby’s three year old filly finally got her head in front at the tenth time of asking when making most to win at Wetherby a fortnight ago by 3/4L from H Key Lails (won well since) and now that she’s found the winning trail can follow up with just a 4lb rise to contend with. Easterby has his horses in excellent shape at the moment scoring with 4 of his 11 runners over the weekend so I fully expect 3lb claimer Sean Kirrane to steer Platinum Girl to another success today

16:30 Leicester

Makes her handicap debut following a 6F novices stakes win at Redcar at the beginning of the month, winning comfortably by 3 1/4L. The Havana Grey filly looks destined (pardon the pun) for a good season in handicaps for trainer Michael Dods who has his team in good form at present with Callum Rodriguez in the saddle here.

What our punters say...

The forum is a friendly, helpful place full of nice members. The competitions are great and keep what sometimes in sports betting can be a lonesome activity a more community based activity. With all members taking part in a competitive yet good spirited manner which for me is what sports betting is all about.

A wide variety of competitions for people to get involved in from Fantasy Football, Horse Racing, Football tipping, Last Man Standing competitions to special competitions focusing on the big horse racing festivals and big World Cup Events.

There really is something for everyone at the Punters Lounge forum and website and would highly recommend it to everyone who has an interest in sports.

I’ve been a member of Punters Lounge for many years as a huge fan of horse racing and betting.

When I joined I was a bit green around the ears. I had ideas that I’d like to have my own ratings systems and do speed ratings etc but needed a place to try things out and get help and feedback on how to go about things. I was made to feel welcome and just got stuck in.

There are some incredibly helpful and knowledgeable people on the site who are willing to share their insights and I have to say I’ve learned so much over the past few years by trying out ratings and getting feedback from other members. The testing different methods which ultimately has led me to the system I use today.

We regularly discuss the big upcoming races. I think of it as a “think tank” where you can see the big races from many different perspectives and make your own informed choice. And all for free! So you can’t go wrong.

Punters Lounge was recommended to me over 15 years ago, I think, in a poker room chat box!

The community members are lovely people & was brill to meet up with them a few years ago.
