Our CopyBet review moves onto the main features of the sportsbook. CopyBet offers a host of features commonly found at the best betting sites, including BOG and acca boosts.

CopyBet offers a decent range of live betting markets on football, cricket, and most major sports. The range of markets on any given morning is markedly lower than at some of CopyBet’s competitors, however.

For example, we found around 50+ live football betting markets on a Thursday morning during international week at bet365. That was compared to just 12 markets on the CopyBet app. That said, Cash Out is available on most live betting markets at CopyBet.

Live streams are noticeably absent from the in-play betting platform at CopyBet. However, the real-time match tracker does a decent job of keeping you up to speed on the game.

CopyBet offers a limited live streaming service for markets such as greyhound racing. Unfortunately, CopyBet falls on its lack of horse racing streams.

Whichever sport you watch, you must have a positive balance to follow live streams. However, there is no minimum bet required before you log in and watch. We found the HD streams performed well through our desktop and mobile app.

Like the top betting apps in the UK, CopyBet is available as an installed app or via mobile site. You can download a native CopyBet app from GooglePlay for Android. Although, we found the mobile site sufficient for navigation and betting.

The simplicity of the CopyBet betting platform makes it ideal for mobile use. There are one or two carousels on the mobile app for easy navigation. Plus, the easy-to-read text and info snippets are ideal for smartphone browsing.

The copy-betting portion of the mobile app is where the software comes into its own. You can browse tipsters by risk and profit with a single tap. Plus, the clean mobile design makes it easy for you to check your subscribers and change fees.

At the time of writing, the average User Rating of 2.8/5 on the Google Play Store does raise some alarms about the CopyBet app. However, most of the lowest scores revolved around software lags, something our reviewers didn’t experience during their review.

Cash Out

You can make a Cash Out on many betting markets at CopyBet, including football and tennis. There’s no Partial Cash-Out option at time of review.

Betting Tips

CopyBet boasts a decent roster of top tipsters who share their predictions on football and a range of sports. These include former Republic of Ireland goalkeeper, Shay Given, and respected tipsters like Gab Sutton.

Copy Betting

One of CopyBet’s biggest exclusive features is the automated copy-betting system. It allows you to add tipsters’ picks to your betting slip with one click.

Plus, you can study a full list of CopyBet’s top tipsters and browse by number of bets and total profit. You may even join the roster of tipsters for a shot at winning weekly prizes if you win the leaderboard.

You can open just a CopyBet account to replicate tipsters’ bets. You don’t have to open a CopyBet sportsbook account either, unless you want to place your own sport wagers.

Become a Tipster

CopyBet also allows you to become a registered tipster and attract your own subscribers. You earn commission for every CopyBet customer that follows you and copies your wagers.

All you have to do is link your account to recognised bookmakers listed on the CopyBet site. Subscribers can follow your bets for 1–4 weeks and place equivalent ones at CopyBet.

Bet Builder

CopyBet joins the best Bet Builder sites in offering a bespoke, tailored bet service. You can use the CopyBet Bet Builder tool on most big sports, including football and tennis. Cash Out is not available, and Bet Builder is only usable on pre-match accas.

Best Odds Guaranteed (BOG)

CopyBet offers Best Odds Guaranteed on UK and Irish races, without limitations, all day and every day. That’s much better than to BOG terms from bet365 and Betfred which starts from 8am on the day of racing.

The deal is a little restrictive as it doesn’t apply to ante-post races. Plus, BOG is only available on selected races where you see the label.

Other Sports

CopyBet offers pre-match and in-play markets on around 15+ sports, other than football and racing. Politics, volleyball, and even Sumo are among the more obscure betting markets available.

You can search for eSports betting markets by game only – annoyingly, they aren’t grouped under a single ‘e-Sports’ tab. There is no virtual sports betting in the CopyBet lobby.

You can claim a free bet offer at CopyBet when you open an account. The welcome bonus is worth £@0 in free bets when you join up and stake £20+.

We scored the CopyBet review down a few marks for its minimum odds requirements. Your first qualifying bet must be at £20 or more at odds of 1.9. That’s a little restrictive compared to the 1.20–1.50 minimum odds you find at other top UK bookmakers.

Regular Promotions

CopyBet hosts several regular promos during the season. Most offers are centred around football and racing. However, we recommend following the CopyBet Facebook page for more targeted offers.

Acca Booster

CopyBet offers selected acca boosts on a limited range of sports. You must select the pre-made accas and hit the BET NOW button to add them to your slip. CopyBet adds a random boost multiplier worth up to 100% to your acca.

Daily Profit Boost

CopyBet awards a randomized daily profit boost to wagers. The boost can be as high as 15%. However, it’s hard to gauge the win amount before you place your wagers.

Prediction Challenge

CopyBet holds its Prediction Challenge throughout the year. You can win cash or free bets by predicting the score in selected EFL games.

Tipsters’ Challenge

As a CopyBet tipster, you have a shot at winning £100 each week. Simply bet on 5 different markets and beat your fellow tipsters in selecting the most winners.

Social Media Promotions

It’s worth following CopyBet’s Facebook page for quick one-off deals. Win a £50 free bet on football, or win race hospitality tickets through giveaways. Fans of the Cheltenham Festival will be disappointed with not a single special offer for the racing spectacle.

CopyBet accepts instant payments by Debit Card, Skrill, Neteller and bank transfer provided you have verified your betting account. This is fine for most sports bettors, but if you’re looking for a betting site that accepts PayPal then you’ll be sorely disappointed.

There are also no mobile payment methods, despite CopyBet being so well-designed for smartphones.

The minimum is £20, much higher than the £5 accepted at bet365 or £10 currently taken at 888 Sport.

In General, CopyBet is lagging behind its competitors who offer a much wider range of payment options with lower deposit limits and quicker payouts.

CopyBet offers a basic level of customer support, including chatbot and live chat. The CopyBet Help Centre oscillates between in-depth responses and one-word answers. Unfortunately, our CopyBet review threw up no phoneline service for UK customers.

CopyBet also provides a few required responsible tools, including deposit limits and self-exclusion. The site also offers a quick self-assessment test that gauges your online betting behaviour.
