A win for Liverpool would take them into the top 7. However, if they lose this one it would be the first time they’ve lost 3 matches back-to-back since Feb 2021.
They have no new injury concerns but are still without Diaz and Thiago.
Everything points to another draw
If we look at the last 5 matches between these two, it’s been a draw in each and every match. The last three have all been 0-0 with the two prior to that being 2-2 and 1-1.
If we look at the lack of goals for Chelsea at home and the lack of goals for Liverpool away. Plus, the lack of a manager for Chelsea and the problems for Liverpool away from home then perhaps both sides would be happy with a draw.
