Hhhmm..

Is it because bwin.com are a major sponsor of few big teams and if memory serves me right they also sponsored a GP event last time ? Which make them looks like a reliable bookies by doing so.

I'm not sure myself, but just guessing. Any1 think so ?

Dear Poul Ross !
I did many bet on the account. All of them were true, any roguish actions for my part were not
On November, 19 I have made attempt to withdraw 3500 euros, thus on mine the account still had 74 euros more.
They have written to me the letter that I should send a copy of my documents. It is a lot of days from them there was no answer. Then I have found out that my account is closed.
I have demanded explanations.
They have answered, that my account is closed. " The company has the right to close the account of any client without an explanation of the reasons "
Yes, it is written down in their rules, but there is not written that they have the right to not return to the client the money which is taking place on his account.
Now they in general ignore my letters
My name is Vitalii Solod

I shall be grateful to you for any help

Bwin!
I suggest you to specify though one case "obvious errors when preparing account balances"
You speak about it, but you do not specify a concrete case because of which you have confiscated my money.
If you will name to me such case in which I have placed a bet incorrectly, I shall not write to you and I shall overlook about this money.
Best Regards

Agree with this. Also, from looking at their site, you would think that they are a professional and reliable company, but I guess looks can be deceiving. Thankfully, I don't have an account with them, and reading some of the stories on the forum, I wont be opening an account. Don't they realise how damaging this sort of thing is for their business?

solod86,

You could ask Bill Dozer at the below email for help. He runs a website dedicated to exposing dodgy bookies (and promoting decent ones).

Assistance@SportsbookReview.com

Also, you could try this website that is set up for similar reasons.

http://www.bookmakersreview.com/Complaints/

Hopefullly between those two and Paul they can pressure BWIN into paying up.

Bwin appeared in Portugal last season and they have since then sponsored the Portuguese Super League. Suddenly everyone was opening up accounts and betting with them. I first got interested about betting because of a friend of mine who had an account there. After reading some reviews of websites I decided not to join with them because they are simply not reliable. I have had accounts with Ladbrokes, Betcris and Betfair and never had problems with payouts.
All my friends have accounts at bwin but the truth is none of them wins money betting, so no complaints... I think some of their managers were involved in racing fixing scandals, although I can't say where, just remember seeing it on the national newspapers.
My advice from what I've read here and at other forums is STAY AWAY FROM BWIN.

Sorry for the delay, I've just emailed them.

I doubt they will ignore it considering what I said will happen if they do.

Hi. I read this thread, and because of what you said, and because it is something I have heard before, I have decided to remove my cash from Betoto (one of Bwin's sister companies).

Hopefully, they will pay out for you, and hopefully they will pay out for me.
