Default bet and win - beware

New here,i didn't even know about this place but a punter on betfair directed me.
Thought it might be worth asking if anybody on here has had bad experiences with this company and their refusal to acknowledge that not all accounts are losing accounts.
My girlfriend has an account with them opened up at the same time as mine for a free bet a long time ago but its been dormant the last couple of years.Anyway the upshot is that a punter on betfair spied a rick on their Mens tennis us open final bet and who out of federer and roddick would get the most aces.I mentioned this to her and for a bit of interest we put it on her account but funded it through my paypal account because they don't take credit cards.Bear in mind that this bet could have been placed on my account.
Anyway the bet won and so did a few more bets placed afterwards.
The current balance is now 1.3k gbp and guess what ??
They're refusing to pay any money back, despite being sent her employees id card and birth certificate as requested. For the past 4 weeks they've been stalling and refusing to pay any money back.
We've now contacted the bookmakers review body for their advice and in the meantime i'd suggest that anybody thinking of opening an account has a re-think.
Anybody who has an account and is yet to withdraw any money should start getting a worried.
Their attitude is appalling, yes they like accounts but they have to be losing accounts. They've even had the cheek to restrict her account to a maximum of 10 gbp per bet even though they are refusing to pay any winnings !!
I'm interested to hear if anybody else has had any issues with them.
I'm seriously thinking of contacting the uk daily mirror as they covered the story telling about the price rick in the US mens tennis price.

Tip Top I'm afraid Bet And Win are very well known indeed for this sort of behaviour. Unfortunately you're not the first and probably not the last to be treated in this way. My only real run-in with a bookmaker was with a subsidiary of theirs and it took me nearly 9 months to get it sorted satisfactorily. In the end Bill Dozer at Sportsbookreview was a big help in getting my money back so you could do a lot worse than contact him. Good luck with your fight anyway.

Oh and to PL. Hope you stick around.

Good luck in getting it sorted tiptop.
I was thinking of getting an account with them last year but after seeing all the complaints I decided against it. Wise move I believe.

I hear tiptop has been promised the money now, but then it took a threatening email of how much damage PL would do to them if they didn't.

Do not bet with these jokers.

As anyone else ever had any problems with them?

Today they cancelled one of my bets with no apparent reason long after the game (racing - colon) was over and it´s not because of the money involved (20€ winnings) that i´m writting this, but because i feel frustrated due to a break in the trust we all need to place our money on an online gambling website.
I´ve accounts with WHill, Coral and GBookers and by far i thought that Bwin had the best service out there, that maybe what happened to tiptop was just something that happens from time to time. That everyone is entitled to a bad day at the office.

With Bwin maybe that just happens to often

Hmmm. Yesterday, I tried logging into my bwin account only to find it's been disabled. Apparently something up with a transaction with BT Click&Buy.

bwin have told me to contact BT Click&Buy but they didn't tell me what the problem was. I contacted bwin again and apparently it's something to do with an open transaction and they've given me some ID thing which is eight numbers long.

I'm looking at my account online and I can see nothing that matches the ID number they've given me...and neither can the operator I've rang on BT Click&Buy's freephone number.

...the last deposit was 1st November so I've no idea what bwin are up to. I haven't made a withdrawal attempt since 3rd November (it took bwin 3 days on Monday 6th to confirm the payout and it appeared in my bank account on Wednesday 8th).

Very unlikely that someone's hacked into my account and tried something. Some gremlins in the system I'm guessing.

It's not like I've won that much money off them recently. I assume I'll probably be banned because I've supposedly done something or other.

More details later.

Question Re: bet and win - beware

I've just read thru' this thread, and wondered whether it would be worthwhile to ask all forumites to help compile a list of reliable sources for others to consider using.
