Windsor Races Overview

Windsor Racecourse is a dual-purpose turf racecourse situated alongside the River Thames in Windsor, Berkshire. The track will be hosting jump racing for the first time since 1998 again in December of 2024.

The track is situated next to the River Thames, a stone’s throw from the town centre and close to Windsor Castle. The track hosts 25 fixtures from April to October with its Monday night fixtures very well received.

The track is a figure-of-eight shape, extending over twelve and a half furlongs. Races that are around a mile and a half in distance incorporate both left and right-handed turns, whereas for shorter races only right-handed turns are met.
