Tottenham vs Swansea Betting: Two best footballing sides in the Premier League can play out an open game
Tottenham have their North London rivals in their sights on Sunday when they host Swansea at White Hart Lane. After seeing Arsenal lose at QPR on Saturday, Spurs know if they win this match they will move back above their arch rivals into third place in the Premier League and more importantly will maintain their five point gap over Chelsea in the race for the Champions League places. Spurs are 4/9 with Ladbrokes to win the match.
Tottenham made it to the semi finals of the FA Cup in midweek. Ledley King played the whole of that match so this match might be too much for him in such a short space of time. Aaron Lennon is fit again after missing much of last month with a hamstring injury and he will give better balance for Tottenham in this match. The likes of Brad Friedel will be back in the side too.
Swansea will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Everton last week. They will know last time they were in the capital two weeks ago they performed the best they’ve done all season when they beat Fulham easily. If they can repeat that performance here they will be very happy. They will have to do it without defender Steven Caulker though as he can’t play against his parent club. Nathan Dyer has served his suspension and can return to the side.
I like watching Swansea. They are a good side to watch and play the game the right way, as do Spurs so this should be a good match for the neutral and I think it will be quite open too and I would expect to see goals. Both sides have goals in them, Spurs from a variety of angles while Swansea are excellent on the break so at 4/5 the over 2.5 goals looks a very appealing bet to me here.
Back Over 2.5 goals for a 4/10 stake at 1.80 with Blue Square
