What is a Football Win Accumulator Bet?

A football accumulator bet is where you add a number of teams all on the same bet to give you a football accumulator or "acca" as it's known as for short.

Every team must win the match for it to be a winner, otherwise your acca is a loser! You can put as many teams as you want into a football acca but the more you do, the harder it gets, but the prize is a big one if the accumulator tips are all winners!

How do I pick good football accumulator tips?

There's obviously a lot of strategies you can use to pick your accumulator tips, and each punter will have a different opinion.

Using statistics and latest form is an absolute must above everything in our opinion and checking lots of different leagues, not just your favourites.

Home teams are heavily bet on with accumulator bets, because they have a big advantage with their home support.

Away teams can be a good strategy too, but odds on away teams, should be thought about carefully. They can pay dividends as some home teams play poorly under pressure from the crowd.

We tend to bet on teams that show consistency at home more than anything, research the stats, form and news and put them in our accumulator tips when we think they are a strong bet.

Betting on draws is obviously low risk and high reward, but it's very hard to do. If you can predict 4 draws in your accumulator bet, then you're looking at over 100/1!

Here's an example winning bet from our accumulator tips below, and that's just one of many!

Pros & Cons of Accumulator Tips

Accumulator Pros

You can obviously win a huge amount of money on accumulators to such a small stake. Not everyone has £100+ to put on big bets so betting a small stake of say £10 on 4 football teams at Evens (2.00) would win you £160.

Make that 10 teams and it goes up to over £10,000! So, betting on accumulators can be very lucrative if you're accumulator tips are well researched.

Accumulator Cons

The disadvantage of accumulator bets is that the more teams you add to your acca, the harder it gets and every punters has a story about that one team letting them down to win a few thousand!

If you have a 4 football team accumulator, which is what we generally have, and the odds are evens that is a 15/1 chance to land the accumulator. Make it 10 selections and it's over 1000/1, but the odds are obviously not in your favour!

Do you have any other accumulator tips?
