Sunderland v Fulham Betting: Back Sessegnon to score anytime
With four points from their last three games, some of the pressure on Steve Bruce at Sunderland has been relieved, for now. The Blacks Cats went through a rough patch where they picked up just win in their first eight games, but their performances in their last three games has been much better.
Fulham haven’t been much better through the first quarter of their Premier League campaign and manager Martin Jol could be soon under severe pressure like Bruce. The Cottagers sit just one point above the relegation zone and if they are not careful they could be fighting against the drop this season.
The bookmakers fancy a Sunderland win on Saturday and Unibet have installed them as 13/10 favourites. Fulham are priced at 2/1 to get the win while a draw is 9/4 with Unibet.
This will be an interesting game to see if Sunderland have turned a corner on their season and are ready to kick on. In their last three games they have had a win against Bolton, a draw with Aston Villa and a loss to Manchester United. In the game at Old Trafford they gave a good account of themselves and lost just 1-0. These performances have been a big improvement on their earlier displays in the season and maybe the team are now ready to fight for the campaign ahead.
The Blacks Cats next two games in the league are at home to Fulham on Saturday and then at home to Wigan so they should really be looking for six points out of the fixtures.
Fulham are coming off the back of a 3-1 home defeat by Spurs and have picked up just three points in their last four games. They did recently pick up an away win against Wigan but they will find it tougher at the Stadium of Light.
Sunderland should have enough to get the win and a 2-0 victory to the home side looks attractive at 11/1 with Unibet. The Black Cats have scored two goals in each of their last two home league games and they should be good for a couple of goals against a Fulham side who have conceded six in their last three league games.
Stephane Sessegnon has scored two goals in his last three games for Sunderland and is worth backing to score anytime here at 3/1 with Unibet.
Tip #1: Back Sunderland to win 2-0 at 11/1 with Unibet
Tip #2: Back Stephane Sessegnon to score anytime at 3/1 with Unibet
