NFL Betting: Denver Broncos into 20/1 to win Super Bowl after announcing Peyton Manning signing
The Denver Broncos are into 20/1 with Bet365 among others for the Super Bowl next year after news broke on Monday that they have signed Peyton Manning on free agency from the Indianapolis Colts. There had been lots of rumour and speculation about where the former Colts star would end up with Miami, San Francisco and even Arizona all mentioned but on Monday the veteran Quarterback announced he is signing for the Broncos for the next season.
The Green Bay Packers are still the favourites for the Super Bowl even though the back up to Aaron Rodgers, Matt Flynn, has moved onto Seattle in the last few days. Green Bay are a 13/2 shot with BetVictor to win the next Super Bowl which is understandable in a lot of ways because they won the Super Bowl in 2011 and had the best regular season record in 2012 and are still young as a squad.
New England Patriots haven’t done a lot of work in free agency so far but one man they have managed to pick up was the Wide Receiver from St Louis in Brandon Lloyd who looks a good signing if he can recover his Denver form from a couple of years ago. The Patriots were beaten in the Super Bowl last year but can be taken at 17/2 with Skybet to go one further in 2013.
New Orleans Saints will be hosting the Super Bowl next year and that could well give them both the motivation to get to the showpiece occasion and then the advantage if they get there and they are 11/1 with Skybet to win their own Super Bowl. Having last won the event in 2010 the Saints are still one of the best teams in the NFL and look set to go well again.
