New York Giants @ Green Bay Betting: Points will come freely at Lambeau Field
The final match in the divisional series of playoff matches in the NFL postseason comes from Lambeau Field as the NFC’s number one seeds the Green Bay Packers welcome the New York Giants to their home field for this match which will determine who plays San Francisco in the NFC Championship game. Green Bay come into this match as the 3/10 favourites with Boylesports to progress through to host the 49ers next week.
Green Bay were so close to the perfect season suffering just one loss in the regular season and that coming surprisingly at Kansas City. Aaron Rodgers has had another fantastic season and his vast core of receivers make plays seemingly at will. The only possible doubt about the reigning Super Bowl champions is their defence which has been incredibly leaky throughout the regular season although it does force turnovers which is vital because most of their games have turned into shootouts.
New York Giants have suddenly slipped into a good gear and are playing great football at the minute. They have Eli Manning at quarterback and he is in top form right now with Victor Cruz one of the hottest receivers in the game at present. It’s their defence which has really stepped up to the mark in recent weeks though and if their pass rush can get to Aaron Rodgers this will suddenly become a very interesting game.
I think it will be interesting anyway. I expect it to be high scoring with both quarterbacks at the top of their games and with that both offences being very potent. Defensively Green Bay take the risks which mean they will give up points while if New York Giants defence don’t get to Rodgers he will pick them apart. I expect this to turn into a bit of a shootout and one which will clear the 52.5pt line.
