Murray vs Tomic Betting: Improving Murray can take care of the talented Aussie
Well, we went 1-1 yesterday with Grigor Dimitrov beating Mardy Fish very easily. Meanwhile, Andy Murray crushed Marcos Baghdatis in Brisbane and I have to say that I simply loved his performance. Today, he is going to play against Bernard Tomic in the second semifinal and I think that the handicap line from 10Bet deserves some attention.
Quite honestly, Marcos Baghdatis did not have a chance against the Scot and it seems that Murray has finally done something about his poor attitude in this tournament. He loves challenges and he should be fully focused for this one, as Tomic is not going to go down without a fight in Australia. The young Aussie is one of the biggest talents in the game right now and he will try everything in order to win, so Murray will need to produce a good effort today. However, there is still a big gap between the two in terms of quality and that is going to be the deciding factor in the end. Yes, Tomic can serve really well and his agressive shots can be very productive against most players. However, his defensive game is nothing spectacular and that will contribute to his downfall today. Murray is a counter-puncher and he can go from the defensive mode into offense very quickly and Tomic is not going to do much against that.
The handicap is set at just four games and we all know that Murray can cover that with ease on a normal day. I would not back him at this handicap yesterday, but I am going to back him today after seeing him in action against Baghdatis. A similar performance from the world's number four will definitely bring this bet in with something to spare.
Back Andy Murray (-4) to beat Bernard Tomic for a 3/10 stake at 1.84 with 10Bet
