Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders Betting: Mumbai look too strong for the Knight Riders at the Wankhede
With each passing match the playoff picture in the Indian Premier League gets painted a little more and that will be the case again on Wednesday when Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders, second and third in the table going into the match, compete against each other in a match which is vital for both sides. Both sides know if they win this match they will be guaranteed a place in the top four but the ultimate aim is a spot in the top two.
Mumbai Indians come into the match as the 8/11 favourites to win with most bookmakers of which BetVictor are one. They have won their last two matches and appear to be coming good at just the right time. They are always going to be in a match when they have four reliable overs from Lasith Malinga on their side and with Kieron Pollard showing form with the bat it is coming together nicely.
Kolkata Knight Riders come into the match in opposite form having lost their last two matches and losing them with their bowling attack which is crucial because they haven’t really put up regularly high totals all tournament. However their bowling attack has been their saviour but when that is no longer the case they could have problems. Marchant de Lange isn’t likely to get another game after being so wayward last time out so Brett Lee could come in for him.
I think Mumbai are good things in this match. I don’t like taking sides at odds on in this tournament because a lot of the times sides are so evenly matched but form is on their side as is home advantage and the momentum and it is hard to go against them with their big players showing good form. All of a sudden Kolkata have issues with their bowling and that’s not good so it is Mumbai for me.
Back Mumbai Indians to beat Kolkata Knight Riders for a 4/10 stake at 1.73 with BetVictor
