London Broncos vs Hull KR Betting: London look the value in what is likely to be a high scoring shootout
Saturday’s Super League action comes from the capital as the London Broncos entertain both the Sky Sports cameras and the Hull KR side at The Stoop. Both sides go into this match off the back of impressive wins so both should be full of confidence and should put on a real good game of rugby. Hull KR beat Warrington last week and they are 8/13 favourites to win this one with Coral.
London Broncos picked up their first win of the season. The Broncos were expected to be the dark horses of the season after finishing last season strongly and having Tony Rea back in charge full time but they started the season slowly so last week’s win will have been a huge relief. Kieran Dixon has been their star so far but a side that has Luke Dorn, Craig Gower and Michael Witt in it should always be competitive.
Hull KR are an up and down side at the minute. Two weeks ago they lost to struggling Salford and then last week they beat Warrington so you never know what you are going to get with them. Their star man is without a doubt Michael Dobson but there’s no doubt that Rovers will miss Josh Hodgson who is suspended, particularly as his replacement, Lincoln Withers is out with a broken toe. Dale Ferguson has been recalled from his loan by Huddersfield so Hull KR are a bit light in the forwards.
Both these sides are a bit Jekyll and Hyde but both come in off the back of good wins last week. I’ve got a feeling the absence of Josh Hodgson and even Dale Ferguson from last week’s win for Hull KR could be bigger than they’d like and with London having found some attacking fluency and defensive structure last week they will fancy their chances. There’s every chance this will become a high scoring shootout but I like London in those sort of games and they look the value to me.
