Keothavong vs Zakopalova Betting: Anne Keothavong can get through to the second round in Budapest
The WTA event in Budapest features a fairly strong line-up, so we should get to see some exciting battles this week. Sara Errani is the main favourite for the title, but she is going to be tested by some talented players, including Irina Begu, Timea Babos and Ksenia Pervak. Live streams should be available at most bookies, including Bet365, so those who prefer in-play betting will also get a fair share of the action.
My first bet of this tournament comes from the encounter between two very experienced campaigners, Anne Keothavong and Klara Zakopalova. Both are well-known for being incredibly inconsistent and I am sure that we are going to see a few momentum swings in this one. Nevertheless, it should ultimately be a fairly balanced clash and I do not really believe that we should be getting more than 3.00 for either player. For that reason, I am going to back the British number two today.
I know that Anne Keothavong has not been on the top of her game for quite some time, but I think that she will get back on track soon and a win here would certainly do a lot for her confidence. And we all know that she still has what it takes to beat players like Zakopalova. The Czech is having a pretty poor season as well and it seems that her problems with consistency are really dragging her down at the moment. She had a decent lead against both Dominika Cibulkova and Arantxa Rus, but still managed to somehow throw it away in no time, so one simply has to wonder how well is she going to play today. Quite honestly, all kinds of results are possible here - but the price for Keothavong's victory is definitely a bit off.
Back Anne Keothavong to beat Klara Zakopalova for a 2/10 stake at 3.06 with Pinnacle
