Djokovic vs Tipsarevic Betting: The world's number one can beat his compatriot in London
Well, the Polish duo actually managed to get through to the semi-finals, so we are already in profit when it comes to our pre-tournament bets (and the main outright is also looking nice). Today's afternoon session will see a contest between two great friends, Novak Djokovic and Janko Tipsarevic, and I believe that we are going to see a decent victory for the world's number one.
Novak Djokovic was absolutely horrible on Wednesday, but I believe that he is going to get back on track today. He should just forget about that match and build on his first performance instead. With a little bit of confidence, he can easily defeat Tipsarevic. A different result would certainly be a huge disappointment, especially after such an impressive season.
Janko Tipsarevic probably deserved to win against Tomas Berdych and I really don't know what to expect from him here after that result. I am not even sure about his fitness status, as he certainly did not look completely fine at the end of the match. There were even some rumours about his retirement (Nicolas Almagro would have to play instead), but that is probably not going to happen. He can certainly trouble Djokovic today, but I do not think that he can actually get a victory right now.
Novak Djokovic leads the H2H 3-0 and, although all encounters were pretty close, I believe that he will record another victory today. He needs the victory more than his compatriot and that should give him enough motivation. And the handicap definitely looks like the best selection here (the outright odds are just not worth it). Lower stakes are recommended, but I cannot see past the world's number one today.
Back Novak Djokovic (-3.5) to beat Janko Tipsarevic for a 2/10 stake at 1.90 with Pinnacle
