Berdych vs Tipsarevic Betting: The Czech can get back on track with a victory over Janko Tipsarevic
Unfortunately, Mardy Fish was not able to hold his game together against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and the Polish duo also missed a lot of chances (but the outright bet can still win). However, Roger Federer covered the 2-0 scoreline even without actually breaking sweat and got us back on track (and the second outright bet is now in great position).
Well, I simply do not know what to say about Tomas Berdych. He really should have won against Novak Djokovic and I am sure that this failure will affect him a little bit. However, he still deserves to be a decent favourite today if he can get past that. He is playing world class at the moment and he can beat basically anyone in that mode. Furthermore, he should be full of confidence after crushing Tipsarevic just a few days ago and that can also give him the edge. And I think that he should actually be happy with the fact that Andy Murray is not going to play - even though he has a good record against him, Tipsarevic is an easier opponent.
The Serb was in great form throughout the season, but it seems that fatigue has already caught up with him. In fact, his most recent performances were pretty awful. You should definitely ignore his victory against Bogomolov, because that was not even a real match - the American just did not want to play.
The Czech has a pretty dismal record about Tipsarevic, but I think that we can ignore that right now. He crushed the Serb in Paris and, after a decent performance in the opening match, he should be able to record a straightforward victory today. The odds are definitely good enough for me.
Back Tomas Berdych (-2.5) to beat Janko Tipsarevic for a 3/10 stake at 1.86 with Pinnacle
