ATP Masters 1000 Series Betting Guide
The ATP Masters 1000 series consists of a number of high profile events which bring together the best players in the world. Traditionally, there are nine events (Indian Wells, Miami, Monte Carlo, Rome, Madrid, Toronto, Cincinnati, Shanghai, Paris). In 2013, six of them will be bring the ATP and the WTA tours together. The tournaments are very prestigious and offer a huge number of rankings points, so the players always take them very seriously. Also, they attract a lot of attention from the general public, because they are a great opportunity to see the elite players together outside of the Grand Slams. All tournaments from this level are played in quality venues, which allows detailed coverage and the media certainly take advantage of that.
Most of these tournaments are played on hard courts. Only three (Monte Carlo, Madrid, Rome) are played on clay courts. While the hard court events are usually very open, the clay court events have been dominated by Rafael Nadal. The Spaniard has already won eighteen titles and is definitely set to win more in the future. Unsurprisingly, the doubles section has been dominated by the Bryans, although Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic (who are not playing together anymore) have also made a lot of impact.

Secondly, there is a possibility to learn a lot about the individual players – the tournaments are basically smaller Grand Slams. There is simply a lot going on during those tournaments. And since the most interesting matches are always streamed live, everyone can enjoy the action.
