Unfortunately Hugh Taylor has totally smashed the price of my other selection today but I still feel she offers some value and she is a winner waiting to happen in my opinion.
Blackdown Fair made a belated return to the track at Kempton over 6f in August she appeared to travel fairly well considering she had been off the track for over a year and that race has worked out very well. That was off a mark of 80, showed little in 2 turf starts afterwards so fell in the weights and looked much better returned to polytrack last time out 4th but only beaten ½ length on her first start at 7f, she was held up off a steady pace which wouldn’t have suited but did again travel well and prove she stayed the 7f, this represents a drop in grade and should get a much stronger run race here tonight and although stall 10 not ideal the way she is likely to be ridden shouldn’t cause too many problems and with few miles on the clock could easily continue to improve.
