Plenty of course form in this one. But plenty of these have something to prove at present or having first starts for some time.
Caledonia Prince hasn’t done a lot in 3 starts since winning around here for the 3rd time back in March. Can easily excuse latest run on the back of a break and without headgear. Cheekpieces back on today but wide draw to overcome hard for prominent runner, although did win from widest draw last time here and has to be considered.
All Right Now is dangerously handicapped on his best form having won around here over 7f off a mark of 70, and has gone close off higher marks and is running off 66 now! But well below par on recent efforts and hasn’t gone well fresh before and yard are just struggling for winners all season.
Availed Speaker looks a far too bigger price, there are some negatives; he is drawn in the dead box in stall 1 and has a very inexperienced apprentice in the saddle but this course in my opinion is straightforward if you’ve got a horse that handles it which he clearly does. He showed a steady improvement in 3 maidens at 6f and 7f before getting off the mark at Wolves in a handicap, ran to consistent level after that including another Wolves win and a good 2nd around here over CD. Easy enough to excuse last run which was turf debut and also back from a break. He should go well back round here and at 20/1 is huge!
