Reasoning
Decent race although potentially not a lot of pace in this race.
Spensely has fallen back down the weights and has now fallen 1lb below last winning mark, but he is extremely reliant on a strongly run race so that has to be a concern here and looks plenty short enough with that unlikely.
Huff and Puff handles this surface well, up 5lb for winning at Haydock last time out, trip on the short side but may get a soft lead if trying the positive tactics again.
Ukrainian is another one that might get the soft lead in this, he bolted up in first time visor last time out at Musselburgh, 6lb penalty shouldn’t have much effect on paper but does have to prove visor will work again and on the AW (did win a maiden at Wolves) and not for me at 11/4!
Shestheman is the least exposed of this lineup and could still be well treated returned to AW, stayed on well last time out at Wolves and should find this step up in trip ideal if staying the extra 2 furlongs but again at 4/1 is plenty short enough.
Nave looks massively overpriced. Admitly he too needs a decent pace to chase at times although this trip may be on the short side so could sit little more prominent than most in this and may just catch them napping with Lane in the saddle again. He has been showing signs of a revival recently staying on well from the back last twice and this mark is well within his reach having dropped 8lb below last winning mark.
