Reasoning
Carlos Berlocq is a classical claycourter, from Argentina, he is 29 y.o. and he is 50 ATP ranking. Berlocq has tremendous experience on slow surfaces, good mobility, but his tennis on hardcourts is really awful. Apart from this, the Argentinian is not passing best weeks of career, being a bit out of form. Since July 2012, Berlocq won a single match against fellow South-American Giraldo at Cinci Masters.
Marinko Matosevic is big server from Australia with Croatian descents. He is a typical bomber, tall and with good play on hard-courts. Matosevic is 27 y.o., he is 57 ATP ranking and he is surnamed Mad Dog due his fighting tenacity on the tennis court.
Berlocq has 4 wins/ 8 loses this season on hard, and also negative percentage on other fast surfaces, indoor and grass. Overall pro career recored at his 29 is 60/55 on hard. Matosevic is much more experienced despite being younger, he plays more on fast surfaces, positive record 26 wins/14 loses in 2012, and overall is at 221/130.
Anything else than Matosevic easy win will be a surprise for me, that is why I take him to win 2-0, -1.5 sets handicap.
