Fairly competitive handicap with several useful looking sorts but I am siding with one of the more exposed runners in this field and one of the unexposed sorts.
Merry Jaunt could be in here on handicap debut off a very lenient mark. But does look very one paced which may not suit around the AW circuit.
Raheeba is another that could be in here off a good mark under a penalty having bolted up in first time blinkers last time out over CD. The headgear will need to work again and overall profile little bit patchy.
Cheers For Thea hasn’t won since 2010, but ran plenty of good races in the meantime. Little slow to get going this year. Shaped a little better last time that the result suggests having been hampered badly and eased in the straight. Handicapper taking a real chance dropping her a further 5lb lower and has now fell 11lb below last winning mark. Normal blinkers left off again slight concern but course record stands out by a mile with 3 wins from 7 runs, wide draw shouldn’t hamper to much as she will be held up hopefully off a good pace.
Another that should enjoy a good pace is Berwin who got caught in all sorts of trouble last time out at Bath when looking threatening. Should have a fairer chance around here and has form on polytrack early in career in maidens to suggest she handles it and looks on a workable mark.
