Reasoning

Several characters to finish the night on and perhaps none you would wanna trust too much with but.

Tenessee may get a soft time of things upfront given there are no other obvious front runners in the field, he is on an attractive mark some 10lb below his peak win but form of late is nothing more than modest having been well held in 3rd last time out when well backed and made a lot of use of, this step up in trip doesn’t look the obvious move after that run despite winning form at this trip and he just looks one to tread carefully with and could only ever be an E/W bet which price clearly doesn’t offer today.

Bold Cross has some form to take a forward role in this but whether this race will be run to suit im  not convinced off a mark which just about sums him up at present.

Heezarity ran an eye catching race on first AW start when fresh in May and backed that up next time out the step up in trip should suit and Hughes a strong booking but surely a reason why he has been off the track over the summer having proved he was in form so slightly concern.

Strike Force enjoyed a good spell on the AW in 10/11 season although went close couple times last winter failed to get back on the scoresheet and mark remained rather static due to consistency but has now dropped 2lb below last winning mark after a few poor runs on turf, after those efforts can be watched for some handicaps later in the winter after a short break aswell.

Kyle Of Bute last won when running here 3 starts back but this mark requires a career best and hasn’t exactly lit the world up back on turf.

Warden Bond was an impressive winner of Apprentice handicap 8 days ago over CD, goes unpenalised for that and clearly ahead of the handicapper although jockey was claiming 5lb that day, can back efforts up but time and time again we see horses try going back to back after winning an apprentice race and fail time and time again so not for me plus this would need to be a career best.

Lean On Pete has done nothing but cost me so far on the AW but proved he clearly is a specialist on this surface having bounced back to form after some lesser efforts on turf last time out over CD, probably beaten by one well ahead of her mark and they both pulled well clear of the remainder of the field and should be better suited by this nearly extra 2f tonight having gone close twice over CD. 3lb ahead of the handicapper at present and looks good opportunity for a horse that likes to sit prominently to take a role from a good draw.

Although Landesherr would probably be better suited to a strongly run race at this shorter trip having stayed on well at Kempton earlier in the week. The fact he has been ridden prominently previously gives hope they will make use of his stamina under a very useful apprentice claiming a handy 3lb could go well at a price which looks a tad generous.
