American Tejay Van Garderen is my personal favorite to win Gold Medals at WC ITT today in Valkenburg. The BMC rider is at top form, he lead his team at TTT but unfortunately they failed for 3 seconds. 2012 had been his best year in professional cycling when he achieved The best young rider and 5th overall at Tour de France. Van Garderen is young gun with more energy than any other contenders if we look with attention - Tony Martin is top rated but he had many injuries during this season, Alberto Contador just won La Vuelta and he may be less motivated in this Time Trial, he is a complete rider but not a specialist. Van Garderen is having his chances to win as the Cauberg hill finish will find himself more fresh and he could win additional seconds compared to others like Kessiakoff, Phinney, Westra or Tuft. At the TTT, Tejay attacked on the Cauberg final climb pass and let his teammates behind, proving he is having very strong legs and he would take even more time to followers if he will be in a great day.
