Top weight Majuro won last time out at Epsom, race rather gifted to him that day likely to find things tougher under a 6lb penalty.
Scotish Lake is looking for a hatrick here, clearly improving at the moment and may be able to overcome a 6lb rise in the weights despite coming away from Kempton but more concerning is the presence of other front runners unlikely to get soft lead.
Same applies to Amoure Medici who didn’t score with much to spare last time out and a 5lb rise could easily find him out and 2nd also let that form down couple days ago.
Roy The Boy appeared to find improvement out of knowhere on AW debut last time out over CD, didn’t over convince with attitude that day having to be rousted along early and looks one to avoid at a short price as could easily revert to type given half a chance and wide draw wont help that neither.
I Confess has finally dropped back down to last winning mark and has been showing more positive signs just recently under this young jockey. Goes well on the AW so if anywhere near his best he should run well in a race which should be run to suit with plenty of pace on.
The other that should appreciate the good gallop is Kingswinford, ran well on Saturday at Chester from a wide draw perhaps finding stamina slightly stretched this return to 7f will suit and still looks well treated on very best form slight question over surface having had just the 4 runs showing just enough that he can be effective on it.
