Being a set up, the German Simon Greul managed to advance further after his opponent Ruben Bemelmans withdrew, it was more a precautious withdraw considering the Davis Cup next week. The Spaniard Ivan Navarro served his way to quarter-finals beating his compatriot Inigo Cervantes, solid on serve where he faced only one break point, played quick wining a lot of points on serve and at the net. Greul leads the head-to-head with 3-1 over Navarro but both likes the faster conditions here, the high bounce also allows them to set for their shots but Greul should direct more balls on opponent backhand and has good passing shots, a good depth for the German to push Navarro into defense where he isn’t comfortable with high bouncing balls on Spaniard’s backhand and we back Greul to take this one.
