Reasoning
Coming after a lay off period due to injuries, the Italian Simone Bolelli managed to advance in second round of Genova Challenger but failing to impress. Bolelli without rhythm especially on serve and was sluggish from time to time struggling on timing but in the end he managed to pull out the win. Cervenak beat Brizzi in straight sets, he needed some time to adjust the conditions and found his range dominating the second set especially behind the serve. Hard to draw a conclusion on Bolelli’s game, he needs match practice prior to Davis Cup action where he most probable will play in doubles, his timing was poor while Cervenak can be a tricky player. The Slovak has a solid serve and can mix well on court appearing at the net to finish the points or keeping the pace from the back of the court, the odds are too low for Bolelli to be backed and we back Cervenak with handicap.
