- In 2011 Huizing won 6 major amateur golf tournaments.
- This year he has been breaking records in some of the biggest amateur events in the World.
- He won the Lytham Trophy, played on the same venue as this years Open, by an impressive 11 shots.
- His winning score of 7 under was the same shot by Open Champion Ernie Els.
- If that wasn't impressive enough he then went on to win the St.Andrews Links Trophy by 14 shots.
- He broke the scoring record in that tournament by an amazing 9 shots.
