Reasoning

Portuguese Frederico Gil continued his poor form this year failing to qualify at US Open, he lost in fist round and returns to his favorite surface where he will face Franco Skugor in first round. Gil is 2-10 recently and 2-6 on clay with his last win back in July. But neither Skugor comes in better form retiring in the last two Challengers. The Croatian depends by rhythm on court as he rely on serve and follows a lot of balls at the net and he needs confidence in his game for that, Gil should use the contra-pie or to create angles to move Skugor around the court, the odds are too low on Gil but he should advance further.
