The Milwaukee Brewers (48-58) will head to Busch Stadiul to end this 3-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals (58-49) after losing the first two. The Brewers now 4th in the NL Central are 17.0 games down from the leaders Cincinnati and their recent form isn`t that bright, now following a 3-game winning streak with their 2nd straight loss yesterday. For this one they will bring righty Marco Estrada (0-4, 4.34 ERA) who is winless so far this season, going in and out of the bullpen, last time throwing a good one against the Astros, giving up 2 runs on 6 hits in 7.0 innings after letting in at least 3 in his previous 3. On the other side the situation is different in St. Louis who are 3rd in the NL Central, 2.5 games behind 2nd place Pirates, now with a good form after winning 4 of their last 5 games. With ace Kyle Lohse (11-2, 2.91 ERA) on the mound the pitching match-up is allready won, now with 5 wins in his last 7 games. So with the pitching match-up won and Lohse keeping the runs low, the Cardinals just have to bring on the heat against Estrada who is 0-2 with a 6.08 ERA against the red birds. Strong team at home (St. Louis/31-21) with better pitching against a team who is modest on road (Milwaukee/18-32) with weeker pitching, I will go with the Cardinals.
