The LA Angels (57-50) will head to U.S. Cellular Field for the 2nd time in this 3-game series against the Chicago White Sox (58-47) after losing the opener by 6-8 (walkoff 2-run homer in the bottom of the night). The Sox are having a very decent season so far and it looks like they are back on track after passing through a slump, now with 8 wins in their last 10. Starting pitcher for the home side will be Gavin Floyd (8-9, 4.28 ERA) who is coming after a loss against the Rangers, giving up only 1 ER in 6.2 innings. Angels looking like a dangerous team to any opponent just as long as they stay healty. Starting pitcher for the LA will be right-hander Ervin Santana (5-10, 5.97 ERA) who is trying to become the Angels ace again, now with a good start after snapping a long 5-game winnless streak, giving up 4 ER against the Rangers in 5.0 innings. In this one I will go with a clear win for the Angels. Floyd has been modest in his career against LA with just 2 wins and 5 losses and a quite big ERA of 4.98 and that doesn`t involve hot hitters like Trout or Pujols. Previous two meetings between the two ended with a clear win for the Angels and that`s what I`m going to go with right now.
