First game of the double header between Washington and Miami at Nationals Park. The Marlins have been one of the few team who had succes against the Nationals, stealing 5 out of 9 so far this season, but things are different right now. Washington will bring lefty John Lannan (1-0, 2.57 ERA) who made a very good 1st start of the season against the Braves, pitching 7.0 innings and giving up just 2 ER on 5 hits. On the other side luck isn`t on the Marlins side who are in a slump, now with just 3 wins in their last 9, missing Ramirez (traded), Morrison and Stanton, with Ruggiano, Petersen and Murphy questionable. They will have lefty Brad Hand, who will play his first game this season in the majors, coming after 2011 when he ended with a 1-8, 4.20 ERA. My pick in this one will be very clear and with good chance in my oppinion, win by 3 or more for the Nationals who will have a stronger offense (compared to the Marlins who lack key pieces due to injuries or other reasons), better pitcher on the mound (Lannan who is one of the most constant pitcher in their roster) and Miami`s bad road streak, where they lost 8 of their last 9.
