Reasoning
For mine Cav is far too short, a combination of recent successes by British cycling, the fact that most bookies are british and the games are in Britain. As such a rider like Boonen has attractive odds in a race that could suit. Box Hill could trouble Cavendish but with 40km of flat afterwards it's going to need a strong classics riders to be able to win from a break and Boonen is most certainly this. His strong sprint finish also serves him well.
