This is my main bet for the week. Nothing about him stands out but he grades out well in a number of interesting areas this week. He didn't play the Open last week which I think is a benefit, and he also finished T5 the last time this event was held at Hamilton G&CC. During that event he was under par in all 4 of his rounds and his best score for the week was shot on the Sunday. Once more, this is a Par 70 course, and Sabbatini's last 3 wins have all been on Par 70's. He's quite short off the tee compared to most players and so the reduced Par 5's I feel give him a relative advantage, and with this course only playing about 7000 yards this week, it's another aspect of the tournament where Sabbatini grades out favourably. Was 2nd 6 weeks back and after a mediocre start to the season his 3 Top 20's in 5 events seems to suggest he's trending in the right direction.
