This should be a treat in my oppinion with odds over 2.00.
The Yanks (51-33) will head to Fenway Park to close this 4-game series against the Red Sox (43-42) after winning 2 of the first 3. This is the 2nd series of the season and yesterday Boston got the first win (after losing 4 straight). The Yankees are starting to get hot again, winning 3 of their last 4, yesterday snapping a 3-game winning streak. Right-hander Ivan Nova (9-3, 4.05 ERA) one of their most succesfull starting pitcher this season will take the mound today, still consistent, last time against the Rays ending a series of outings with 2 or less ER (5 in a row). Boston, a dissapointment so far and it`s hard to think they will do something this season, now with just 1 win in their last 6 games which sums their form up. Starting pitcher for the Sox will be lefty Jon Lester (5-5, 4.33 ERA who has 5 quality starts in his last 6 games. Funny enough this season Lester provided weeker results in front of own crowd with an ERA of 5.60, giving up almost twice as much homeruns then on road (7 compared to 4 on road). Based on these facts I`m putting my money on the Yankees.
