Open de France Betting: Anders Hansen 3/1 to win the tournament after securing share of the lead in Paris

With just one round left of the Open de France Denmark’s ultra consistent Anders Hansen is the 3/1 favourite to win the tournament with Ladbrokes after he claimed a share of the lead to take into Sunday. Hansen, who has won three times on the European Tour, the latest of which came in 2009, shot a solid round of 69 on Saturday to move into the lead on six under par.

Hansen shares the lead with the former Ryder Cup hero David Howell. Howell is no stranger to winning golf tournaments although he hasn’t been in the position to do so much recently. He moved through the field on Saturday with a 67 which contained a lot of quality and has seen the Englishman cut into a top price of 6/1 with Bet365 among many others, to win the tournament on Sunday.

Howell and Hansen lead the tournament by one shot from the South African big hitter George Coetzee. Coetzee could only shoot a one under par round of 70 on Saturday but he remains well in contention going into the final 18 holes on Sunday and he can be backed at a top price of 6/1 with Boylesports along with a couple of other firms.

Two men sit on four under par. One of those is the overnight leader from the second round in Marcel Siem and the other is Raphael Jacquelin who will be looking to give the home crowds back to back winners after Thomas Levet won this tournament on this course 12 months ago. Siem shot a two over par 73 on Saturday to drop back and he is now as big as 12/1 with Ladbrokes while Jacquelin, who shot a one under 70, is into 10/1 with Betfred to win the tournament and thrill the Parisian crowd.
