Kerber vs Radwanska Betting: Angelique Kerber can get through to her first Grand Slam final
Two semifinal matches are on the cards today, but there is probably no point in backing anything in the Williams-Azarenka match. I would be extremely happy with Azarenka winning though, since we still have that pre-tournament bet in play and that would come in as a result of her victory.
Angelique Kerber comes into the second semifinal as a 1.71 favourite with Pinnacle and, to be honest, I just cannot see past her. She is playing well on this surface, she is hitting the corners at the right moments and she is up there mentally as well. She had a few problems against Lisicki, but came through the crucial moments with something to spare and that will give her a lot of confidence and belief.
Agnieszka Radwanska will obviously fancy her chances, but grass is not her favourite surface and her match against Mario Kirilenko showed why. She has no serve and her tricky game can get demolished by big hitting. She has what it takes to win a Grand Slam, but Wimbledon is not the ideal place for her one would feel. The fact that she has lost one set so far is fairly misleading, as she has only played against the likes of Giorgi, Vesnina and Watson so far. Meanwhile, the German had to deal with players like Clijsters, Makarova or McHale.
The two have already met a couple of times and the H2H record stands at 2-2, but you just have to give Kerber a solid edge on grass. Radwanska will force her to play that extra shot, but she is fully capable of doing that these days and she should not have too many problems on her own serve.
Back Angelique Kerber to beat Agnieszka Radwanska for a 3/10 stake at 1.71 with Pinnacle
