Jaziri vs Isner Betting: Determined Jaziri might be able to do some damage once again

My second (and final) bet of the day comes from the match that will see Malek Jaziri and John Isner fighting for a place in the third round. Pinnacle are offering some interesting lines and I am willing to back one of them.

Malek Jaziri is coming into this match as a decent underdog, but I would not want to ignore his chances in this encounter. The fact that he has defeated Yen-hsun Lu on Saturday shows that he is playing well at the moment and I am sure that he is determined to make the most out of this incredible opportunity. 2012 is apparently a breakthrough year for him and he has shown that he can trouble even some of the bigger favourites on numerous occasions. For example, he took a set off Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in Doha and crushed Philipp Petzschner in the French Open. Yes, he is still struggling against some of the poorer players from time to time, but that is not going to be on his mind today.

John Isner is obviously all about big serves and powerful shots. On one hand, that playing style allows him to play tight matches even against the very best. However, it also means that weaker players can stay very close him. And this might definitely be one of those occasions. The American has managed to defeat Olivier Rochus in the first round, but his performance was nothing special in all honesty.

I cannot really see past Isner here, but he has a habit of winning ugly and his movement on grass seems to be rather suspect, which might hinder his chances a little bit. For that reason, I am more than happy to back the underdog with a very solid head start here.

Back Malek Jaziri (+4.5) to beat John Isner for a 4/10 stake at 1.90 with Pinnacle
