Irish Open Betting: Jamie Donaldson 11/4 to win Irish Open as he takes a one shot lead into the final round
Padraig Harrington started the third day two shots behind the Irish Open leader and he will go into the final day two behind the leader too. The leader has changed but Harrington’s position both in shots back and position in the outright betting market haven’t because he will go into the final round as the 5/2 favourite with Bet365 as he looks to win on his home turf.
Jamie Donaldson is the man who will hold the lead into the final round on 12 under par. He will be seeking his first win on the European Tour on Sunday and he can be backed at a top price of 11/4 with Paddy Power to achieve it. Although he leads Harrington by two strokes he only leads the tournament by one shot from Anthony Wall.
Anthony Wall is back at the business end of a tournament after a while and he is well in the hunt on Sunday courtesy of a wonderful five under par 67 on Saturday. Wall is now 11/2 with BetVictor to overcome Donaldson on the final day and win for the first time since he won the Alfred Dunhill Championship in the year 2000.
Harrington isn’t the only man on ten under par. He is alongside Mark Foster on that score after Foster shot a one over par 73 on Saturday. He went into the third round one shot behind and goes into the final round two back. He can be backed at 9/1 to win the tournament from here while it is double figures the rest of the field with 18 holes left to play out at Royal Portrush.
