Hull KR vs Catalan Dragons Betting: Catalans can use the week off to recover their form and end Hull KR's good run
Hull KR are on an excellent run of form at the minute and they will look to extend that on Friday night when Super League returns from a midseason break for the Exiles game. The Robins take on the high flying Catalan Dragons who’ve lost their last two matches, in front of the Sky cameras at Craven Park. Some bookmakers can’t split these two sides with Skybet one of a few who going 10/11 for both sides.
Hull KR have flown into form in recent weeks and will hope that the week off hasn’t ruined that. They have won their last four matches with their last two wins coming over Warrington and Huddersfield and you know you are playing well if you beat them in back to back weeks. Blake Green could be fit for this match but will need to pass a fitness test however David Hodgson misses out with injury which is a blow.
Catalan Dragons have lost their last two matches but the last one was to the runaway leaders Wigan Warriors so the cause for panic hasn’t been reached just yet. The Dragons will welcome Jamal Fakir back from suspension for this match. He will replace Louis Anderson in the side while Setaimata Sa is fit to play despite pulling out of the Exiles squad for their match against England last weekend.
There are some wonderful rugby players on the field for this match and the match itself could be settled on who wins the scrum half battle between Scott Dureau and Michael Dobson. However Catalan have a potent set of backs and a real powerful forward line and they edge this game for me. David Hodgson is a big loss for Hull KR in my eyes. I think the Dragons are the real deal this season and I wouldn’t be surprised if they go on and win at Old Trafford and they can begin that run with a win here.
