Hradecka/Hlavackova vs Williams/Williams Betting: The Czech pair can do quite well against the American duo
The final match of today's schedule should see a cracking contest between two excellent pairs and I believe that we might actually be in for a real treat. The American duo naturally deserves a lot of respect, although I probably would not want to back it outright at 1.22, which is what you can currently get at Bet365.
The thing is, Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka are playing really well these days. The fact that they have received a call-up for the Olympics has apparently boosted their morale and they have lost just two sets on their way to the finals. Now, many experts believe that they are not going to hold everything together in such a big match, but I would actually challenge that assessment. After all, they have already won one Grand Slam trophy together and Hradecka has also converted the championship point in last year's Fed Cup, so there is no shortage of experience when it comes to the Czech pair.
There is no point in talking about the Williams/Williams duo. They can be incredibly strong, but whether they will be able to take this one in a straightforward manner is a different question. Serena Williams will have the main final under her belt at that point and that might be quite draining, while Venus Williams has not been playing on the top of her game for quite some time now.
It is always hard to go against such a strong pair, but the total games line is set at just 19.5 games and that is quite low for a doubles match. Both pairs can serve well and I can definitely see the Czech pair winning eight games today.
