Heineken Cup Leinster v Cardiff Betting: Leinster to stay on course for back to back Heineken Cup titles with a win against the Blues
Leinster are undoubtebly one of, if not the best side in European rugby and are on course to win their 3rd title in 4 years. They currently top the RaboDirect PRO12 by 10 points and were unbeaten during the group stages of this years Heineken Cup competition. With Brian O'Driscoll back as well it would take a very brave to back against this Leinster side retaining their title.
Cardiff Blues made the headlines for all the wrong reasons this week with the sacking of Gavin Henson and that's the only time this season really that this Blues side has been in the limelight. They're having a very mediocre season in the PRO12 and only a victory over Leinster tomorrow afternoon could save what has been a very disappointing season despite boasting an array of Welsh internationals who most recently won the Grand Slam of course.
Cardiff also have some key players missing for this the most tough of away European fixtures. Sam Warburton and Jamie Roberts are both long term absentees and also missing will be the sacked Henson. Front Rower Ryan Tyrell is also injured.
Leinster are at full strength having rested some key players during last weeks victory over Munster.
I cannot see anything other than a Leinster victory from this fixture with the only question being, by how much? Warburton and Roberts are huge losses for the Blues as they are such devastating players and players like Tom James and Dafydd Hewitt are in my opinion just not good enough for this level of rugby.
I forsee an easy victory of between 11-20 pts for Leinster and that can be easily backed at 9/4 with PaddyPower.
Reommended Bet: Leinster to beat Cardiff by 11-20 pts at 9/4 with PaddyPower
