Ayr Utd look the bet of the weekend in the lower divisions. They are on a good wee run without a defeat in 4,winning 3 of those and a very good draw away to Inverness who are the most in form team in the league.

8/5 they are with Bet365

My first bet of the weekend takes me north of the border.I'm not normally a fan of royalty but Queen of the South @ 3.2 on Betfair can't be ignored.Dunfermline at home are 5-3-4 for 18 against 15,so they've won 42% of their home games.Queen away are 4-3-3 for 16 against 13,so they've lost 30% of their away games. On form Queen are 3-1-2 and Dunfermline are 2-3-1 so it looks pretty even but Dunfermline have won just 3 of their last 10 and QOS have lost 3 of their last 10.Amazingly the away team have won this fixture on the last 7 occasions.
The icing on the royal cake for me is the team news.Kirk(8 goals, top scorer) and Bayne(3 goals) will be missing for the home team with Muirhead and Cardle(5 goals) doubtful.Gibson with 7 goals hasn't scored since 12th dec and he started on the bench for the last game.
I'm taking 100% draw cover because the decent away price allows it........

Can't see past ICT giving Morton a good doing. ICT on a great run while Morton's purple patch after the new manager was appointed looks to have gone pear shaped

Agree with ICT and Ayr write-ups.

My best shout, albeit a crap price, is Livingston at Elgin. Corals go 4/9 and that to me is a good call on a near 50% return on money, league leaders Livi have the best away record in the league at Elgin who have won 1 match at home all season, I can actually see livingston go through the next division next season to compete in the 1st division in 2 years time. Stadium, infra-structure is in place to compete at this level as they come back from the financial penalties.

Yes Ayr have the wind in their sails alright if you pardon the pun and I backed them during the week to beat Partick.By the BBC's account Partick were unlucky not to equalise when they hit the post near the end.Their other recent wins came at home to Morton(down to 10 men) and away at Dunfermline(who also hit the post) and again by BBC's account had several attempts saved.Ayr could also be missing Roberts(7 goals) and their away record reads 1-3-8 for 8 against 22.Airdrie were unlucky to concede late during the week to get a draw at home to Dunfermline and didn't play badly either in their 2-0 loss against the same team.
I'm not saying Ayr won't win but because of what I've mentioned already I'll be leaving the match alone....

Not much time today,in a hurry.I've put a small bit on Montrose @ 4.7 on Betfair with draw cover.I think it's a good price against a Albion side on a bad run.If BBC are to be believed(not always correct) them Albion could be missing 6 first team.Montrose are after 2 nice 2-0 away wins and I think are worth a 1/10 at this price....

Sport Football (Scotland)
Event Forfar Athletic - Annan Athletic
Selection 1
Strength 10/10
Date 13/03/2010
Bookmaker/Price Bet1128 @ 2.12 (Back)
Reasoning Forfar after 2 shamefull losses, must find way to back on winning ways and I think today they have ideal chances to do it, they really can win against low ranked Annan. I think home factor and motivation will prevail, and we will see Forfars win today.

Sport Football (Scotland)
Event Queens Park FC - East Stirling
Selection Over 2.5
Strength 10/10
Date 13/03/2010
Bookmaker/Price Pinnacle Sports @ 1.98 (Back)
Reasoning Two very open minded teams, and I'm disappointed to see this odds on over, because I rate both team defenses not good, and their main force is in offense.I think both team will use this, and there is very good opportunity on Over.

Sport Football (Scotland)
Event Albion Rovers - Montrose FC
Selection 1
Strength 10/10
Date 13/03/2010
Bookmaker/Price Pinnacle Sports @ 1.84 (Back)
Reasoning I see very good opportunity on home side today, Montrose have very limited team this year and looks very depleted now, Albion plays very stable and I see big motivation on their side, because they don't won against Montrose many years! Let's try today! Home win for me.

Can't see past Albion Rovers today against Montrose. Coming off the back of a 4-1 win at home to Berwick, they do have a few players definitely out but David Macfarlane will be back in the side. Montrose will be missing at least 7 players for this game, they didn't have enough subs to fill the bench against Stranraer last weekend, and were somewhat fortunate to win the game.

Rovers have drawn both games with Montrose this season 0-0, and if they'd picked up even one win their play-off credentials would have been a lot stronger. They won't slip up today though. 1.8 available on the home side (Hills and Bet365)

Betfair.

Ayrs recent good form, but slight doubts about team news and the fact that they are away from home
