League one looks full of value this weekend.

On first glance:

Millwall
Bristol Rovers
Southampton

Full analysis to come this evening

I can see value in one game. It'll be risky, but may pay off.

Huddersfield - Norwich: DRAW (3.0)

Huddersfield hold one of the best home records in whole country. They didn't lost whole year (10 wins, 7 draws). They were in bad form in past week or two, but most of those games were away, and they they drew every one of last four home games. Norwich are high on top and probably won't risk too much because one point from this game simply cannot be considered as failure, especially because they (very) narrowly managed to win last two away games against much more inferior opposition.

Here is my selections for Saturday:

Millwall vs Charlton Athletic

This is a real play off position battle, not to mention a London derby as well. This would normally put me off putting anything for this game, but I can really see some value here. Millwall have been in great form recently, consistently good at home (only dropping 1 game all season) and picking up some decent away results as well. On the other hand Charlton started off the season very well, but have started to let things slip recently. Dropping points in what should have been fairly easy games, Brighton being a very good example, as well as only just scraping past a struggling Southend.

Millwall Draw no Bet @ 1.73 StanJames

Bristol Rovers vs Tranmere Rovers

Bristol should be buzzing after going against their poor away record last weekend and thrashing a strong home side Swindon 0-4. Bristol are now within range of the play-off positions and with a game in-hand over the 2 teams in-front of them I can see them really going for it. Bristol with a home form of 11 1 5 against poor travellers Tranmere who only managed 2 away wins all season with form of 2 4 10. I can see Bristol taking all 3 points from this game. Unless any bad Bristol team news comes forward I be will putting:

Bristol Rovers to win @ 1.87 Betfair

BRIGHTON V SWINDON (BRIGHTON WIN 8/5 Betfred)

Brighton go into this game full of confidence on the back of a 4 game unbeaten run which has included some tricky away fixtures.

There home form has been poor but with confidence being restored a little with a home win against Exeter in there last home game I feel they can turn over a Swindon side who are showing signs of a wobble at a key time of the season.

Danny Wilson was critical of his defence in the midweek defeat to MK Dons and has added Steve Darby from Liverpool to strengthen his full back areas but I feel Brightons clever delivery from set plays and the raw pace of Lua Lua who has signed for the rest of the season will see them home

I won't be touching any of those games and I highly recommend others do the same.

Having see Milwall at home to Hartlepool 2 weeks ago I would strongly advise you stay away from backing them against a good outfit like Charlton.

The last 6 of Oldham's games have gone under 2.5 goals and 1 in the last 10 have gone under 2.5. They are definelty not prolific scores, 4 out the last 5 of Wycombe games have gone under 2.5 and two of them being 0-0 draws. This smells a low scoring game.

Oldham v Wycombe under 2.5 goals @4/6

Also Stockport V Gillingham under 2.5 goals @ 4/6 The gills don't score many away, and Stockport dont score much at home

Bristol Rovers @ 4/5
looks great there form been good and they will be buzzing after trashing Swindon, while Tranmere have just come of a hammering from Leeds.

Good outfit?

You obviously haven't see Charlton play. Millwall had 10-men in December and played them off the park.

Millwall have lost once since Boxing day, staying away from them this year would've cost you quite a bit.

Ah sorry, just realised you're a Hartlepool fan. You're one of those fans that never rates the teams that beat your side. I suppose you played terrible that day and we still struggled? Something like that?

Of course you're entitled to your opinion, that's football, and gambling, but I just think it's dangerous to have clouded judgement due to previous with your side.

Agreee with Billy and other poster, Millwall took leed's unbeaten record off them and are a very confident pick at home, few sides get anything there, if any side is over rated its Charlton.

Laying Charlton on Betfair for me

I tend to not back my own team too much (call it superstition if you want) but lets get one thing straight i would not dream of backing any team in the top half of league one to win at The New Den.

Millwall have the best divisional record against teams in the top half of league one. When teams like Leeds Norwich and hopefully Charlton roll into town we are at our best. Sure we may sometimes struggle to get up for games against the lower teams but usually we still grind out a result.

If i was having a bet on the game then i would be laying Charlton!

Millwall v Charlton - LAY Charlton @ 3.75 BF

Millwall are in great form at present marching their way into the play-offs, automatic promotion may not be within reach but a win here does them no harm at all, I was listening to BBC London the other week and they were saying that these two teams seem to be going in different directions at present, although Chalrton have won two on the bounce since it was against lower teams of League One, Millwall are one the form team in the league at present and I think they'll do enough.

Highly speculative but Huddersfield 4-0 and 4-1 at 100/1?
Try Paddy Power 5-0 375/1 and 5-1 at 225/1. Life-changing odds!

Well, I believe they will continue their run of draws on home turf. After two embarrassing away defeats they can be more than happy to get a point against league leaders.

Millwall FC - Charlton Athletic

I remember this teams last game in London 4-4 and many missed chances.. I don't see why today we must expect low scoring game...I think like always here must be many goals. Over for me.

10bet @ 2.17 (Back)

Brentford FC - Milton Keynes Dons

I see any real motivation on home side, they are comfortable on 14 place and 3 game less than others.Brentford will play without pressure anly for supporters, But Milton must win, they badly need points now to fight for playoff and will play with full heart.Away win for me.

5Dimes @ 2.83 (Back)

Stop being a tit, firstly. I have come on to help.

'You're one of those fans that never rates the teams that beat your side'

and you know this from one comment I made?

I've seen Milwall twice since the start of December, we beat them 3-0 at the Vic and then they limped past us 1-0 at the Den thanks to a goal from a deflected free kick. It was a drab game from two drab teams where each goalie had very little to do. They were absolutely woeful when we played them at home and offered nothing when I saw them at the Den.

'You're one of those fans that never rates the teams that beat your side'

Yet you totally contradict yourslef by talking about the previous fixture between the two.

I happen to rate a few teams in this division and will back Southampton till the cows come home because I think they're a class outfit.

If Milwall are so amazing and Charlton are so shit then it does make you wonder how Charlton are higher in the league. It must just be a fluke.
