| William Hill - Pete2609 Full Tilt - Toffee Pete I wasn't going to play this, mainly because of the buy-in, but I know not to look a gift horse in the mouth, so the chance of winning us some money with no risk to myself, and also getting some Focus Points sounds a goodun, so I would like to put myself on your list of possibilities ![]() |

You could deposit into Full Tilt so that you have more than $50 in your account, then withdraw it all. ![]() TQM

| 59 minutes of good TAG play undone in one hand Sorry GaF?fwiw, him calling my flop bet, I put him on either a flush or straight draw, with the turn seeming a brick, I wanted to push him off seeing a 5th card for his 'draw'. Calling the re-raise was my only mistake in the hand (I think?). Game #7956768274: £1.5K Super series (ID8250741) £15+£1.50 - Hold'em NL (50/100) - 2008/10/06 - 20:28:30 (UK) Table "8250741 - 10" Seat 5 is the button. | Disagree tbh. I'd have played it the same if I had paid for myself, and would have been beating myself up just the same. My biggest MTT weakness, I have noticed (!), is going bust / being crippled in hands I wouldn't even be in, apart from the fact it has checked round to me in the BB. I didn't have any need to go out there, last hand before the break, as I said it felt it playing easily enough [but there again, maybe that is because I had seen just 8% of flops, and won all 3 without showdown]. Suppose at least I have stopped going bust on TPTK, and now it takes top two pairs ![]() |

![]() So a very general point ..... is TPTK really a hand to be embarassed about going bust with in a tournament? I know the reputation - but short stacked with escalating blinds, TPTK is a pretty good hand you can push all the way Going bust with TPTK in a deep stacked cash game (or early in a tournament) when deep stacked is criminal but TPTK has its place in tourneys ![]() | |

| Read the HH, I'm not scared! ![]() I was in BB, checked round to me, a few in the pot, I had TJo, flopped top 2 pair.... unfortunately somebody else flopped a straight. I put them on a draw, and that was it. My complaint about my apparent weakness wasn't a gripe about this MTT in particular, it is something I need to shed in general. Just to clarify - I wasn't seeking your absolution for going out, so don't feel that I am hankering for a "don't worry, that's poker". Just airing in general a weakness I feel I have ![]() My deep stacked post-flop play is sadly lacking, that is without a doubt the area of my game that I would love to work on the most, but without starting to play cash tables, I wouldn't know hot to go about it |
