| Hi mates, Do you think that betfair poker software cheats? Today I got beaten several times on hands like 3 queens, straight and some other good hands. These were impossible chances. I really don't trust any poker software any more. Regards

| Of course they can! If I am writing a poker software I would like it to win so that I don't loose money. So my bots are internal part of the software knows all the cards on the table and can ask the dealer (who is also part of the same software) to give me cards that I need. A child can write such a program.

| "It's all rigged I tell ya" but it's the same for everyone. I must say though I've never had any luck on Betfair but the players there seem very bad. So that must mean I''m fcking crap. ![]()

| Having hardly played at all for weeks I played over a couple of evenings this week on Devilfishpoker, which had been kind to me in the past, but I was getting everything busted. It was enough for me to start withdrawal proceedings - not because I think it's fixed but because it is now fixed in my head that I'm going to lose every race and it affects my play and almost becomes self-fulfilling. That is my choice. There are enough sites that I can easily get my fix elsewhere and no-one has to play on any site where they are not comfortable for any reason.

| Is it just me or do people tend to remember the beats more as they feel hard done by than the hands where they river the miracle card to double up?

For example - if you have AA against an underpair. you're an 80% shot to win. If you have an overpair against an underpair 4 times, you're a 60% favourite to lose at least one of them.

| Have to agree with you Gaff there, as you know i have just taken a break and although i an now coming back albeit slowly, because i was running bad, not for one second did i think, the site is fixed. Its just variance, we have it run for us the other way too, i have won tournys before and after thought, well my 11 year old son could have played that and still won it. We all remember our bad beats a lot more than our hands that have held up, or the hand when we have indeed given a bad beat. Ive played Betfair very little, but have had success when i have played there. I always try to think, when ive had a beat, was there any way i could have avoided it, did i play it wrong. Thats the real tell, should i have raised, did i raise enough or not? Variance people, thats all it is, it will change and go the other way. |
