Team position reshuffle in the 2nd round The CVG Poker Champions snatch the lead in the 2nd round of the 1st eSport-Poker league. The PuntersLounge seem to forget their dismal performance of the 1st round and blaze their way to the 8th overall position. In an exciting reshuffle of the positions obtained in the 1st round of the 1st English eSport-Poker league, Wednesday´s 2nd round saw all teams fighting hard to improve their standing. After winning three tables last Sunday on what now seems to have been a stroke of beginner´s luck, the Bikeradar Kings of Poker performed rather more dismally this time, falling from the 1st position down to the 6th. In the end, the CVG Poker Champions showed a strong performance on all the tables in this 2nd round, and were able to snatch the lead from the Kings by 1 team point. But it was the three teams, Techradar Calling United, the Royal Flush Poker Team and the Red Aces, who maintained a consistently good performance, by once again finishing amongst the top five teams of the day. Let´s see if they can keep it up throughout the season. Last Sunday´s losers from the PuntersLounge surprisingly saved their faces in the 2nd round by scoring 65 player points and jumping up to the 8th overall position. This time, their savior was PLadetrick, who played the tricks well enough to win the 4th table and 30 player points for the team. Stuck right at the bottom of the table was the Casinos.co.uk team, whose players scored 0 team points in the 1st round and … 0 points in the 2nd round. Maybe it´s time to revisit those poker classes?

CVG Poker Champions consolidate lead CVG Poker Champions consolidate lead with 70 points The CVG Poker Champions consolidate their hold on the first position, while the Casinos.co.uk Poker Team is still stuck at zero points. The 2nd round`s best five performers repeat their success in the 3rd round. As far as team performance goes, nothing much changed in Sunday´s 3rd round of the 1st English eSport-Poker league. Just like in the 2nd round, but in a slightly different order, the best five performers in this 3rd round were the CVG Poker Champions, the Red Aces, Techradar Calling United, the Royal Flush Poker Team, and the players from the PuntersLounge. Once again, the CVG Poker Champions performed well on all five tables, garnering a total of 97 player points and thereby winning the round. The Red Aces came in at second place with 82 player points , and shot up from 5th position to 2nd position in the league table. However, the Aces still lag 11 points behind the Champions’ 70 team points in the overall ranking so far.Techradar Calling United and the Royal Flush Poker Team ended up in the 3rd and 4th positions respectively and still occupy the same two positions (3rd and 4th) in the league table. The guys from PuntersLounge performed well for the second time in this league, coming in at 5th place and moving up one position to the 7th position in the league table. The Bikeradar Kings of Poker, who won the 1st round exactly a week ago, repeated their rather more dismal performance of the 2nd round to come in again at 7th place with 34 player points, thereby falling down to the 5th position in the league table. At the other end of the league table, the Casinos.co.uk Poker Team can’t seem to get away from that sticky last position. Once again, we suggest signing up for a crash course in poker. We could recommend a few good ones.

Kings of Poker rekindle their winning spirit Gamesradar All in wins Sunday´s tournament, but the CVG Poker Champions still maintain their lead. The Bikeradar Kings of Poker recover the winning spirit they had lost after the 1st round. The strongest performers in this 5th round were the players from Gamesradar All in, who till now had not even been in the first five, apart from in the 1st round. This was the only team on Sunday to win at two tables, thus garnering 98 player points and the first position in this round. Last week´s winners, the CVG Poker Champions, did not perform so well this time, coming in at 4th position with 67 player points. However, the strong lead obtained by the Champions in the league so far meant that they still maintain their first position in the league table with 84 team points. In fact, they enjoy a lead of 12 team points over the second placing, which is actually an improvement of 1 point over last week. Second best in Sunday´s tournament were the Bikeradar Kings of Poker, who seemed to manage to rekindle that winning spirit they had had on the first day of the league. After their rather dismal performance in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, the Kings performed well on all tables to score 88 player points and claim the 2nd position in the league table. The poker players from the PuntersLounge continued their upwards trend by taking 3rd place with 77 player points, but were unable to change their standing in the league table, where they maintain the 7th overall position. The Red Aces and the Royal Flush Poker Team both lost one position in the league table, falling down to 3rd and 5th place respectively, but still remaining among the best five teams. But perhaps the biggest losers of Sunday´s tournament were the players from Techradar Calling United, whose consistently good performance in the league so far was interrupted by a dismal 18th placing. The United was kicked out of the best five to land in the 6th overall position.

CVG Poker Champions confirm intentions to win! CVG Poker Champions confirm their intentions to win the league. The Red Aces regain the second position stolen from them by the Bikeradar Kings of Poker. Casinos.co.uk Poker Team finally loses the last position. In Wednesday´s 6th round of the English eSport-Poker league, the CVG Poker Champions confirmed their intentions to win the league title, by coming first for the third time running. The Champions won two tables and came second at another to garner a total of 105 player points. They now enjoy a lead of 22 team points over the Red Aces, who regained their second position in the league table after losing it to the Bikeradar Kings of Poker last Sunday. The Bikeradar Kings have now been relegated to the 3rd overall position after taking the 7th place in Wednesday´s tournament with 53 player points. A surprise performance was that of the Team Suited Bluffers, whose bluffs must have till now all gone wrong, as they had only been able to gain 3 team points on the 2nd day of the league. This time round, the Bluffers scored 63 player points, taking the 3rd place and improving their standing to the 10th position in the league table. Otherwise, Wednesday´s tournament did not change much in the first 7 positions in the league table. The Royal Flush Poker Team and the Gamesradar All in switched their positions, and Techradar Calling United and the PuntersLounge are still in 6th and 7th position respectively. The good news for the Casinos.co.uk Poker Team is that they finally managed to break away from that dreaded last position by scoring 25 player points and winning the 9th place in Wednesday´s tournament. The prestigious position in the 1st English eSport-Poker league table is now held by the Pot Chasers.

Yet another good show by the Bikeradar Kings of Poker The Bikeradar Kings of Poker put on a good show as they fight against the Red Aces for the 2nd position in the league table. The CVG Poker Champions improve their already strong lead; the Team Suited Bluffers climb up to 8th position. Sunday´s 7th round of the English eSport-Poker league saw the Red Aces lose their second position in the league table to the Bikeradar Kings of Poker, for the second time in this league. The Bikeradar Kings put up another spirited performance, with team members SPSlick Mick and PL-wallg coming in 1st and 2nd place on their respective tables to help give their team 76 player points, and win Sunday´s tournament. The Red Aces performed rather worse, garnering only 9 team points and dropping to third position in the league table. Whether the Bikeradar Kings are a serious challenge to the Poker Champions’ lead remains to be seen. After all, even though the Bikeradar Kings of Poker won the first round 3 weeks ago, it is the CVG Poker Champions who have consistently been seen at the top of the league table since then. In Sunday´s tournament, the Champions came in 2nd place with 74 player points. They now enjoy a lead of 27 team points, which is an improvement of 5 points over their standing in the last round. It seems that the CVG Poker Champions will indeed be a hard nut to crack. Positions 4 to 7 in the league table are still held by the same teams as in the last round, namely (in descending order) the Royal Flush Poker Team, Gamesradar All in, Techradar Calling United and the PuntersLounge. And the last position is still held by the Pot Chasers … Performing surprisingly well for the second time in a row were the Team Suited Bluffers. The Bluffers scored 67 player points, took the 3rd place in Sunday´s tournament and jumped up from the 10th to the 8th position in the league table. Good show!

| I am not trying to influence things in my favour - I am trying to influence things in the right way. It wasn't my table that froze, it was the tournament that froze and I got an error message to the effect of "You've knocked too many muppets out, so we're going to freeze the tournament and wait to see if any other muppets arrive to take their place". Yeah lets keep the result as below ![]() poker.co.uk have 4 player points to earn 11 Team points Bikeradar with 58 player points earn 10 Team Points CVG, with the 9th best Player Points score (and their player eliminated in the "frozen" game) were given the 4th best Team Score - the worrying thing is that this weeks match report referred to them having finished 4th last week, suggesting eSport aren't aware that it's a ridiculous position ![]() The "logic" behind it seems to be that the 5 teams who had players eliminated in the frozen game have been awarded top 5 spots overall for the week, regardless of Player Points ![]() 1st eSport-Poker League | Round 8
