Any idea of the amended league table GaF?
If they award the points as they say for the disputed weeks?

Afraid not - I can hazard a good guess at week 8 - I dont have info on Week 15 though (beyond being pretty confident Bikeradar are top)

Gaf,

When did the conversation that you have posted take place?

Seems to me that if they can't sort the table out in 5 weeks, the chance of us knowing wtf is going on by Sunday are pretty slim!

The one in post 40?

That wasn't me - I've copied it from another forum (That play as Team RoyalFlush)

I can offer no explanation, nor have any understanding as to how it has gone so far without being dealt with - at the very least IMO there should have been some explanation on how it will be dealt with - if it cannot be displayed on the web site - doesn't matter - that's insignificant - if we have the information we can create our own tables

Can only assume some sort of bot turns out these reports because clearly it has even less of a clue what's going on than we do.

CVG Poker Champions sprint towards finish

The CVG Poker Champions sprint towards the finish line in a last minute attempt to overtake the Red Aces. The Champions are now only 1 team point behind the Red Aces, and the lead position is open to both contenders.

Sunday´s 20th (and penultimate) round of the English 1st eSport-Poker league saw the CVG Poker Champions sprinting towards the finish line in a spirited last minute attempt to overtake the Red Aces in first position. The Champions came in second in this round and are now only 1 team point behind the Red Aces, whose dismal 6th placing only won them 10 team points.

This surprisingly good result for the CVG Poker Champions leaves the lead position in the league table equally open for both contenders, and in the end it will be the performance of both teams in the last round this coming Wednesday that will decide once and for all.

The first place in the 20th round was taken by the Royal Flush Poker Team. The Poker Team has performed consistently well throughout this season, winning 5 rounds so far and scoring a total of 340 team points. It has been firmly anchored in the 3rd position in the league table since the 11th round, and is now a full 45 points ahead of the Bikeradar Kings of Poker in 4th place.

The PunterLounge scored 65 player points and came in third, but was unable to improve its standing in the league table, where it lies 4 points behind Techradar Calling United in 5th place. Gamesradar All in still retains its 7th standing in the league table.

think this pretty much confirms the table:

CVG Poker Champions fall short of finish line

The CVG Poker Champions sprint towards the finish line in a last minute attempt to overtake the Red Aces, but fall short by just 1 team point. The real poker champions of the 1st English league are now the Red Aces.

Last Sunday´s 20th (and last) round of the English 1st eSport-Poker league saw the CVG Poker Champions sprinting towards the finish line in a spirited last minute attempt to overtake the Red Aces in first position. The Champions came in second in this round and missed the championship title by just 1 team point.

Despite a dismal 6th placing in this last round, the Red Aces are now confirmed as the real poker champions of this 1st English league, and the CVG “Poker Champions” have to make do with the title of runner-up.

The last four teams in the league table will be relegated to the 2nd league in the next season. These are (in descending order, with the highest rank first) the Gambling.co.uk Poker Team, the Bluff Poker Team, the Pokerforum.co.uk Poker Team and the Pot Chasers.

Early Upsets in Champions League Opener

There were a few surprises in the first round of the eSport Poker Champions league with some very tough competition and some very close finishes with a mixed performance by the UK teams.

The eagerly awaited Champions league has finally begun and in Group 1 German side Team Pokertor got off to a flying start by winning the first group event and scored 15 points despite not winning any of the 5 tournaments, their consistency of two 2nd positions and two 3rd positions was enough to clinch the win. They will certainly be noticed more now after they previously finished 6th in the German 2nd league.

The Red Aces were flying the flag for the UK against all German teams. The UK 1st league champions got off to a steady start with a 4th place bagging 14 points mostly thanks to a win by "PL Gazza271" in tournament 3. It was a close thing though because they were in a tie on player points with Poker-wolfs who will have to settle for 5th because Red Aces had two 2nd positions to the Poker-wolfs’ one. The Crazy Jokers from the German 3rd league came in 2nd thanks to a win in tournament 4 by "Superarne86" so watch out for him! Following The Crazy Jokers for 3rd position was Eintracht who score 18 points.

In Group 2, Punterslounge made a nice start with a 3rd place. A very solid performance from the loungers as they were involved in a very tightly contested event where the top 5 teams were separated by a mere 7 player points. Queens of Music from German league 2 took 1st place with foesport.de hot on their tails in 2nd. This could be a hot group if we have more events this close!

In Group 3, Team Pokerfieber from the German 1st league took top spot with 2 tournament wins by "Flodschi" and "Fronti2904" together the team amassed an impressive 116 player points which certainly sets the early pace for Group 3. "PLRiverDance" steered UK team Bikeradar Kings of Poker to a very satisfactory 2nd place with The PG PokerGurus of the German Open league close behind in 3rd and may be the surprise package so far. Techradar Calling United started with a disappointing 6th place despite "Dave488" getting a win in tourney 4 but received little support from his team who could only muster another 24 player points between them.

In Group 4 there are no UK teams but it was won by Joker-Blatt from German league 2 with a commanding 110 player points and so 30 team points. Close behind were Arp Poker Kings and Go 4 it.

In Group 5 surprise winners Team Gwaan came from the UK open league and had wins in tournaments 3 and 5 thanks to Rocafella. and ChivalrousG respectively. The CVG Poker Champions came in a poor 8th position, the established UK 1st league runners up will look for dramatic improvement next time out.

Group 6 holds the German 1st league winners and will be the favourites going into the Champions League. They got off to a very poor start managing only an 8th place. "OpTil1ty". grabbed them a victory in Tournament 3 but got no support elsewhere. There are 4 UK teams represented in this group and SK-Gaming Poker Team fared the best by taking down an excellent win after a mediocre performance in the UK 1st league finishing 9th. "Brinkytinky" was undoubtedly the hero winning tourney 2. Gamesradar All in were also not far behind but settled for 3rd as it was another tight finish with Up-series Freiburg sneaking into 2nd. Poker .co.uk Poker Team got off to an adequate start with a 5th in this group but down in 9th was the Royal Flush Poker team, they will be looking to reverse this result next time after showing great promise in the UK 1st league finishing 3rd. The Champions League will no doubt provide an intriguing competition and there will surely be many twists along the way.

Champions League Round 2

The 2nd round of the Champions League took place on Sunday and consolidation was the order of the day for the teams off to a good start, but it was also a chance to move up the tables for the rest of the teams.

In CL 1, the top of the table looks very tight after PokerChampions reversed their poor showing last time by taking full team points and climb up to a respectable 3rd place in the overall table. Eintracht hold the lead as they managed to secure 2nd place thanks to a win by AAAndiFFM and currently stand on 42 team points with Team pokertor just 2 points behind after a disappointing 6th place on Sundays event. The Red Aces now find themselves in trouble after only taking a 9th position and now languish in 7th overall with 21 points but will put themselves right back in the mix with one good score.

In CL 2, Queens of Music stormed to a resounding lead after back to back wins and hold maximum points. Sams0nites and dasmcx123 did the business for the Queens winning their tournaments. Considerably behind the group leaders, there is already a battle emerging for the qualification places. Punterslounge find themselves in 4th overall after 2 rounds scoring a reasonable 4th place in Sundays event. The PL crew are in good shape to progress but with their unspectacular scoring they still have plenty of work to do.

In CL 3, Bikeradar Kings of Poker are ideally placed after 2 rounds after another 2nd place finish and now stand proudly on top of group 3. Telepee99 took down the win in his tournament and 2nd place finishes by SPSlickmick and Scaramoosh provided good support for the bikers. Team Pokerfieber are pushed down to 2nd overall after only managing 4th place and KWICK! Poker-Team were the biggest movers and are now up to 3rd overall after securing the win on Sundays event thanks to an excellent all round team display and especially Latrine86 who registered a win for her side. Poker Outlaws and Wassonline.com are struggling and both UK Open League teams will need a radical improvement soon. Techradar Calling United are also in need of a big score after only managing 5th place in round 2 and stand 7th overall despite Morlspin winning his tournament.

In CL 4, ArpPoker Kings continued their good form by grabbing 1st place and find themselves on top of group 4. They cruised to victory on Sunday with 3 winners and 1 runner up and tallied an astounding 128 player points and will no doubt be on a high going into round 3. unknownrus, kater169dd, gangst3r34 all chipped in but hopefully for them they haven’t spent all their energy too soon because there is a long way to go. Looking down the overall table for group 4 you can see that a lot can change by the end of the next round as it there is only 18 team points between 2nd and 7th.

In CL 5, we have another team on maximum team points, Team Gwaan managed to repeat their victory thanks to wins from Thomasinde and Psyrgohh. The guys from the UK Open League will be in great shape to progress to the knockout stages. Elsewhere, the CVG Champions are struggling in 8th overall after just a 6th place in round 2. The guys from UK 1st league need to rekindle the form they showed earlier this season if they are to go forward to the knockout stages. ITP Stars from German 3rd league are well placed for qualification after successive runner up finishes.

In CL 6, Team Mopo.de re-established their quality by clinching their 1st win of the Champions League with wins from “I call Lose” and TAK47. SK-Gaming Poker Team remains top of the list with a 4th place result. Gamesradar All in are back in 5th after a disappointing 7th place score. Royal Flush Poker Team and Poker.co.uk Poker Team are both in big trouble after coming last and second last respectively but there is still time to make a move and no team is out of contention at this stage.

Queens of Music Set the Beat

The tables are starting to take shape and for some teams qualification is looming. At the wrong end of the table the fight for qualification places is heating up!

CL 1
Eintracht continue to hold pole position after another solid 2nd place performance. The Smart Aces made a nice move up the table taking the victory in round 3 and are now right back in contention. viKIE1979 and nrwallstar both won their games to comfortably win this round. UK side Red Aces continue to struggle with another 9th position not helped by 2 of their team eliminated in last position which leaves them 8th overall and in need of some magic soon.

CL 2
Queens of Music continue to set the pace in the Champions League with another great performance but they couldn’t make it a hat trick of wins but will settle for a 2nd and now hold a very impressive 84 team points from a maximum of 90. The Queens look certain to qualify but they surely won’t ease up on what is becoming a total domination of CL2. PuntersLounge have dropped down to 6th in the overall standings after a poor 7th in round 3. However the group table has really bundled up as the loungers are only 6 team points adrift of mTw in 2nd.

CL3
Bikeradar Kings of Poker still lead CL3 despite a disappointing 7th position on Wednesday night. Their lead has been cut slightly but the big movers were Promarkt.de Royals who enjoyed their first win and are up to 3rd and Wassonline.com who lifted themselves from the bottom of the table up to 6th with a good 2nd place performance this time round. Wins from 1Pastieman and Block912 were not quite enough for the team victory as they paid the penalty for having a player eliminated in 10th. Techradar Calling United and Poker Outlaws still bring up the rear at this stage and both UK teams will be looking for a top 3 finish next week.

CL4
Wettbasis lept to the front of CL4 with a commanding performance totalling 126 team points with all players finishing in the top 3. schauwermal and Stefan.806 were the winners for Wettbasis but the performance was galvanized by an excellent all round team display. Much can happen in this group and with 5 teams to qualify from each group, all teams will have expectations of qualification.

CL5
Team Gwaaan couldn’t make it 3 in a row and only managed 5th but still look in great shape to qualify and are still the best placed UK team. CVG Poker Champions found their form at last in the Champions League with their first win and climb the table dramatically five places up to 4th. A superb performance from CVG as they took 2 wins and 2 second places. Fonzie1411 and Kippe6666 took the wins and have now successfully kick started their Champions League campaign. Lodgers Choirboys haven’t hit top gear yet and are back in 6th in this group but are still on course for qualification if they can improve on their nearest competitors next week.

CL6
Up-Series Freiburg took 1st place this time and now hit the top of CL6. Poker.co.uk Poker Team made a good showing and sneaked a 2nd place result thanks to a win by billycathy. Another solid performance from Team mopo.de consolidates their 2nd place in the table and they look good for qualification after a shaky start in round 1. SK-Gaming Poker Team are also well placed despite a fairly horrendous result on Wednesday evening putting together only 29 player points. Gamesradar All in are also in contention in this group despite their poor result of 7th but the big surprise in this group is the Royal Flush Poker Team who are still rock bottom of group 6 after another 9th position result.

Default Re: Matchday Reports

Looking around the site for any announcement on round 5 cancellation and realised we never copied up the report from Weds.

Matchday 4 - Points are priceless for the teams on the fringe of qualification

We are into the second half of the group phase of the Champions League and every point is priceless as we build up to a nail-biting few matchdays that decide who will go forward and who will be eliminated. There is still plenty to do for the UK teams as many are currently out of the qualification positions.

CL1
Team Pokertor won an impressive three tournaments to take full points in round 3 in this group thanks to wins from erdium FL, lichtan123, polkaprinz. This great result means that the team from the German 2nd League are almost assured a place in the quarter finals. The Smart Aces are also well placed for qualification after they snapped up 2nd place on Wednesday. UK team Red Aces improved with a 3rd position and have climbed the table slightly but it may be an anxious finish with the penultimate matchday this Sunday.

CL2
mTw made it two wins in a row spectacularly winning round 4. They managed three tournament wins and now look a solid qualification bet along with Queens of Music who decided to save some energy in round 4 and only scored points for 6th position. Punterslounge are back in contention after a decent performance in 3rd in matchday 4 and currently lie in 4th position in their group. An exciting finale is also on the cards in this group as all teams stand a chance of qualification to the next stage. The Suited Bluffers didn’t score well in this matchday but trail 5th place foesport.de by just 13 points, their task is by no means impossible.

CL3
KWICK! Poker-Team took full points in matchday 4 and have opened up a 12 point lead at the top of group 3. Bikeradar Kings of Poker follow them but only after a poor showing on Wednesday with no players doing better than 5th. The middle eight teams in this group are only separated by 16 points so much can still change and the Bikers are not yet guaranteed a place in the knockouts. The bottom of group 3 is still propped up by three UK teams. Whilst the Pokah Outlaws are starting to pray for a miracle, Wassonline.com and Techradar Calling United are still well in touch with the teams immediately ahead and are still in with a shout.

CL4
Wettbasis are the “steady eddies” of group 4 after they pick up another very solid score. Their 2nd position result now virtually assures them progression to the business end of the Champions League. Seven 2 Off-suit look like joining them after registering their first win.

CL5
Team Gwaan weren’t at the races this time out and finished last in matchday 4 but their astounding start to the group is surely enough to get them through this group. CVG Poker Champions are back in 5th after they scored a 5th place result. Their position is vulnerable though as the three teams behind them in the league all had better results in matchday 4.

CL6
Poker.co.uk Poker Team took a big step towards qualification with two tournament wins which was enough to take maximum points and now are up to 2nd in the table. Keshathallam and billycathy were the key players in their victory. Gamesradar All in put in a consistent team performance but will need more if they are to proceed. Some good scores finally from Royal Flush Poker Team get them to some respectability in group 4 after a 3rd place score. They stay bottom of the table but two more strong scores and they could pull off mission impossible.

This is the official statement on eSport about round 5.

Technical Issues Cause Cancellation of Match day 5

Due to technical problems on the PokerRoom software the 5th match day of the eSport-Poker Champions League was cancelled. We apologize for not releasing any news earlier.

After much work, we are unable to reschedule this match day and so unfortunately the Champions League group phase shall be reduced to only 5 match days.

The final match day of the group phase will be on Wednesday 18th June.

We realise that this is not the ideal situation but we believe it is the best compromise to simply play the final game with the same points structure as was used in the first four games.

Thank you for your understanding and we wish you the best success in the final round on Wednesday.
